On the subject of Nissan, how about the money spent on making the Juke-R and how much of that should have gone in to the development of a new Sentra-R...
Put a Chevy engine in a Hemi Cuda, along with a Ford toploader and 9" rear. Also make sure it's significantly faster than a Hemi Cuda.
I always wanted to go to a Pontiac meet with my turbo Firefly(s). I'm sure it would have been a warm welcome.
An original 427 Cobra re-powered with a Chevy Crossfire injected 350 and an automatic. Car is repainted hot pink, dechromed, with a grey tweed interior.
Take a mint classic front engined Ferrari and replace the engine with a SBC. Never wash it and drive it through a couple of winters. Then take the V12 from the Ferrari and put it in a 240Z based replica and make the paint and interior perfect and pamper it like your own offspring. Take both to a Ferrari show and watch heads explode all around.
Why any one would do this makes no sense, but I bet someone would try and sue you for doing it they'd be so offended.
Cut the "shell" off a classic Porsche, slap it over an FFR 818, beat actual Porsches, especially the one it looks like.
Bring Coke to clean up the gore from exploding heads.
What do I win?

I put a blown small block chevy in a cobra and got kicked out of the cobra club.
Right now I am really close to building a ITB F20c powered 28 ford pickup on a 32 chassis with friction shocks and willwoods all around.

I just want to F with the people at the hot rod shows. 9000rpm + clutch dump + bias ply tires will make me smile.

Car I have seen with my own 2 eyes, a real Ferrari 308, with a fiero drive train gobbed in...
Ninjie edit : it was not a kit car, just an owner who didn't want to keep paying Ferrari maintenance costs...
I'm sure a few Italophiles would get their tricolore knickers in a twist if this was done to a RWD Alfa (Or Ferrari, or Lamborghini).

The one with the improperly installed turbo that pukes oil along the racing line for half the track.
My cousin built a TR7 on a Scout chassis with 42's, a 400 sbc and an alarmclock-style red led digital dash. It was pretty goldern offensive...
Porsche 914 with a Chrysler 300m drivetrain on nascar takeoff wheels/slicks with radiused wheel wells an krylon safety orange paint.
I can't wait till I find a cheap roller. I will build this. For a challenge. And then take it to pca events. ..
This will asplode a specific type of head, but being of a certain age, I like first gen Camaros. I have an August of 66 tub sitting in my garage- Very, very early production, but just a drum brake, powerglide, column shift, bench seat 327 car, with all the number-ey stuff long gone. Very rare combo, but of no interest to me.
Here comes the good part- I like vent windows and 67-68 dash, but much prefer the 69 sheet metal. All the parts I need to turn the body into a 69 have to be replaced on the 67, and I'm pretty sure I have the skillset to make the 69 door skins work with the vent windows. I really want to go to a Camaro show with it...
How about a Fox body Mustang with a 4 cylinder out of a Pinto, perhaps with a turbo?
Or maybe make a BMW SUV with a hatchback, and just to piss off the purists, put an M badge on it?

I am strangely intrigued by this. Did the 300M come with a stick?

Ha! I see what you did there However the SVO Mustang has its own following and is a neat car in its own right. The X#M things... meh.
