And, the whole "Ask the father" thing is such horse E36 M3. She is an adult. She gets to make the choices in the own life, and if she doesn't, I don't want her.
The asking her father parts is for his blessing, not his permission. She makes her own decisions full well, but it definitely helps with family matters if he is ok with it.

Congrats!
Not exactly a car girl, but she puts up with my addiction pretty well. ;)
My sincere wishes for you and your future wife are that you may be as happy as we have been.
I got married 4 months before my 40th birthday and it's still the best thing that ever happened to me. In my case, the wait was totally worth it.
Congratulations!

Congrats!
She has a 2017 Subaru Legacy. Nothing too fancy, but it's a practical car and it's not a Honda, so I like it for her.
Dam you got me big time. I proposed in a Costco parking garage. .. . Ok it was dark, we were young and. . .. . Never mind. . .
Congrats!!!!
Oh and asking the Dad is absolutely a class act. Huge respect for you on that one!!!!
Enjoyed hearing about this conceptualization at The Challenge, congratulations on your success in pulling it off! Car nerds rejoice.
