Any good books to recommend? I'm primarily looking for books on business such as the recently recommended book written by the guy who started the Dogfish brewery. Bonus points for cars & business combined, but not "how to start a detail business" or "how to make money on ebay motors".
Other topics could be car-related, though I've done Racing in the Rain already.
I appreciate it!
Maybe check out the biographies of some of the motor city guys. Lee Iacocca and such. I haven't read them myself but I have heard they provide an interesting glimpse into the heart of the auto industry.
For book recommendations outside of your categories, its always fun to read the Vegas lifestyle books, I am soon to borrow Catching Whales in the Desert from a buddy. It is about a casino host and some of the craziness he had to deal with when landing big clients. I am currently reading Repeat until Rich which is about a card counter in the early 2000's. It's interesting, but kind of poorly written, I only bought it because the store was going out of business and it was super cheap.
Hope this helps on the car books

I don't read many books (more of a magazine guy) but since you're looking for something about business, give "Appetite For Self-Destruction" a shot. A fascinating study about the eventual failure of the music industry and all of the mistakes they made. A great read if you're into music.

Thanks folks!
While not specifically on business, the number of recommendations for "Unfair Advantage" in the thread AussiesMG kindly supplied made it sound wonderful. Does anyone have a copy they would consider loaning me? Awfully expensive on Amazon.
We need a literature Sticky...seriously. Im trying to find some recommendations that someone made to me, and I wrote them down on a note that accidentally got tossed into the washer in the dungarees. Books on suspension - basic setups, think "Suspension for Dummies", and how to books for designing your own or modifying suspension components. I cant for the life of me find the thread.

EDIT
Doh...just saw the thread linked above.

20 bucks is "awefully expensive" Trust me, it is worth it. Buy your own copy, every car guy deserves to have one.
Seriously...$20?
I just started "My Years With GM" by Alfred Sloan. I picked it up for three bucks from a sidewalk vender. It gives some interesting insight into the formation of GM and some of the things being worked on way back when.

Yates. He's our Yeats.
More tangentially: Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance. It's not as much about motorcycle maintenance as you might think (and possibly less about Zen).

I've been reading "Unfair Advantage". About half way finished with it. Good book.
