so - i have to buy a crapton of beer for an upcoming event.

what kinds of laws are out there to theoretically stop me from driving into a surrounding state where beer is way cheaper and bringing it back to the state in which i reside?

If you can get a Trans Am I can help.

Depends on the states involved actually. But then as Wally said, have Trans Am will drive. However such a trip would require you to play "East bound and down" and have a CB.

I have a friend that did a similar run a few years back when I still had my black Camaro. Before he left he asked if I wanted to go for a drive lol. He loaded his truck (3/4 ton Dodge) with so much beer the rear end started to sag.

I think we'll need some details about where and when this event will take place in order to figure out a solution for you.

I think it really depends on how much a "crapton" means... Are we talking a few cases in the trunk, or closer to a pallet-load?

Living in PA near the NJ border, it is common for folks to venture over into NJ to pick-up booze. While this technically illegal... and I've heard of people getting stopped, I've never seen it happen nor heard any first-hand accounts...
