In my opinion, the best car on the market is from Pagani, but I could make allowance for Rolls Royce for those who need to carry passengers. Frankly though, I think you'd really enjoy any car that cost over half a million dollars.

McLaren P1 looks like a good candidate IMO. You didn't say best for what so I'll assume best performing streetable & street-legal. It doesn't have a roof rack for canoes though.

I looked at the Ferrari 312T3, but it got bad repair ratings in Consumer Reports. Instead, I purchased a Brabham BT44, and I've been absolutely thrilled with it. Yeah, it's not as fast, but the maintenance isn't as costly.
