I mean, it was cool that it had a Laserdisc in it and all, but it was like $1.00 a credit in the early 1990s or whenever it was that it came out. I could play a racing sim for like a half hour with that kind of money.

If you were a real high roller, you played Hard Drivin. $2.00 a game and only one chance.

That was 50 cents a game at my Bally's, and I played the everloving snout out of it.
Force feedback, three pedals, and an H gate shifter, in the late 1980s! That game taught me that you have to lift if you want to turn. And that game devs are lame, they put a whole "autocross" course in and there was no way to go through checkpoints, so it was a guaranteed game over.
