I had a Baird owl fly into the door of our 79 Bronco. Gave the poor guy a heck of a concussion. Temporarily blinded. Took him to a rescue, he made a full recovery and I got to take him back to the accident site and let him go. He flew to a tree, sat and stared at me for a bit, then took off.

That's really cool. Did he watch you like this during transport?
Nope, he was unconscious for most of it. Was wrapped in a work shirt. He woke up and wasn't too happy. Luckily I was able to pull over and secure him before he got loose while I was driving.
