Isn't that the truth! BTW, I invented the big wheel.

This caught my attention because I have a spare Chevy 1Ton chassis I've been wondering what to do with. But those are definitely NOT 1 Ton Chevy axles. Do you have a link to the article or whatever had the information on the frame?

I am intrugued by the jalopy tractor, but I think the wire wheels and disk brakes should scare anybody off in regards to an LSx swap.

I believe that is what's known as a "Montana Mail Car"....or something like that. There were a few made back then.

Came up in the first page of google image results for Ford C Series. Sounds like a clever setup!

Have had all 3 of those... (if that BMW is a 325e)
Miata, good gas milage, FUN to drive, small, can barely handle a big trip to the grocery store.
E30, mid 20's milage (from mine), electrical problems that are easy to fix, fun to drive in a cruiser kind of way (compared to miata). Surprising amount of trunk space.
Scooby, KING of space. Seriously, you can fit a lot back there. UNSTOPPABLE in the snow. You would have to beach it. Gas milage wasnt great, underpowered, I live in mountains, guzzle as I get up a hill at traffic pace. (totaled this car in a boulder impact + rollover, banged my knees on the dash, otherwise uninjured. safe car)
Miata or E30 you are gonna need snowtires. I never put snows on the Edirty and it wasnt good. Miata has an open diff and snows and gets around decently. Scooby never got snows and didnt really need them.
On sight, i would pass on that wagon. 1 word, tetanus! obligatory hotlink
The other two, miata takes some sacrifice and makes a great second car, but as a primary its a bit small. Fun enough to be worth it though
