I drove about a 1/4 of this scenic drive yesterday. I started at the entrance to Road America (although didn't go in for the bike races), and went south. Great roads with some good ups and downs and side to sides. The road surface was surprisingly good for Wisconsin, and it was refreshing to find the yellow curvy road signs with the speed at 10-15 mph below the posted limit for the road. We made it down to Hwy 28 and headed back towards Elkhart Lake. Kettle Moraine is a state park that features formations left by the glaciers, it's quite interesting and beautiful. If you are driving up from Illinois in a fun car, this would be a great way to get to Road America.
