That's an M-201, an 8" gun. My first job at 25 was to turn (lathe work) the outside diameter of these, it's the same as a 175mm tube.
We later took one of these and punched the bore open to a thin wall tube, welded a nose of depleted uranium to the front and filled the hollow area with good stuff.
From 10 miles up it could hit a basketball. With a nose and a hollow tube it could penetrate 14 two ft., thick blocks of reinforced concrete. From conception to final product -- 23 days. No kidding.
There's a video in our museum open to the public, I can't link it but good stuff. This is what holed Suddam Huessan's underground bunker.
Our next effort was the same thing only using a 16" gun tube.
It was called Earthquake.
It landed somewhere.

In retrospect, this film holds up poorly. Back then, all the characters were whining about how teens don't have a voice, and how if they just had a way to explain their views, every thing would be better, etc.......now, anyone can throw up a website, and nothing is stopping teens from doing so. It hasn't changed things that much, though.
