They were 'lick and stick' stamps. My mom used to keep a sponge thingy on the desk in her office so she wouldn't have to lick a gazillion stamps.

When they were .22 i used to tape a quarter to the envelope and find 3 pennies in the mail box the next day

I know there was a Petty "special edition" GM did before the fwd '92 Pricx. I always thought it was done with the 2+2 but could it have been another g-body? Used to see it driving around all the time in a nearby town. Could be dementia, i guess.
