The taper over the length of the whip is key, too. Each time the diameter decreases the speed increases since the same amount of energy is moving a lighter mass.

That stuff is terrific. I bought the first bottle because I looked at the label and couldn't not do it. Fortunately, that silliness paid off.
Related to a recent discussion of out-of-control IPAs... Something more like what I imagine the originals to have been: (EDIT: That's Samuel Smith's India Ale, since I grabbed an image so small you can't read the brewer...)
