Arrogant Bastard is at least malty and otherwise strong enough to stand up to its hoppiness. It may be kind of over the top, but it's not astringent, or floral, or more to the point, just all-hops-all-the-time.
I dig it, but since it's going to hit, theoretically, 99 deg F here today, I will probably stick to something a bit lighter... OTOH, the pub is air conditioned...

Had one of these once. The engine was nice, but 15/30 MPGs bit. I got rid of it.
