This used to give me fits trying to explain to folks that there is no way the portable air compressor they just bought at Lowes is actually a 5hp compressor when it plug into an outlet.

Maybe the vac peaks at 5hp for a fraction of a second? After all, this is a graphic that says one horse generates 15 horsepower.
