I fully agree ... but the situation in Boston wasn't normal ... the city was in what amounted to lock-down ... his being there just exacerbated the the situation ... took resources that could be better used elsewhere ... the same "rousing" speech given from the Oval Office would have done the same thing ....
please keep in mind ... this is just my opinion on the subject of presidential in general .. not so much this one in particular
