This is fascinating. I really had never thought about population density being so low west of the Mississippi.
I like what it shows about Florida.....we have some areas that are as rural and open as you can imagine (e.g. driving across 60 towards Yeehaw Junction) and some that are as dense as any urban center. It's a microcosm of the whole nation.
and yet there's no green anywhere except the CSA portion of the SE...
I would have thought that the population density of the inner cities would have shown up ... unless the resolution is extremely low
Rebelgtp- son of a.... Any jobs?
Wbjones- if you track down the original the res is better and urban areas show different distributions.
Sorry, no hotlink from phone :(

Depends on what you do. It is mostly smaller towns around here so there are not as many positions available and different types of stuff than what you find in the big city.
I have been looking for a new job for a couple months now. I actually just put in for a graphic artist job at an RV manufacturing plant (we have a couple around here). I am in the process of starting a business with one of the largest farmers around the area and eventually I will get my rifle manufacture business going.
Here is Hell's Canyon (just a short drive from me)
So...uhhh...I used to design bus wraps in addition to 10 years as a graphic designer....
These days I'm using my chemistry degree in the R&D dept making household cleaning products......

Sent you a PM.
Not many buses around these parts unless you count the shuttle that goes over the mountain to the casino.

Aluminum beer bottle on the wing and duct tape fixes everything. Even matches the paint, kinda.

Right now I mostly do some custom ar and 10/22 builds plus some fine tuning on some precision rifles. Currently I am working on a new adaptive chassis design for a sniper rifle.
I'm not a huge fan of kit cars, but if I were to spend the time and money, this is the direction I'd go.

Needs white walls with that look, not skinny little rubber band sidewalls. I've seen some cars where they fake the whitewall with caps/inserts for the rims. Example: a whitewall-looking treatment of a tweel

He could run the same tire with something like that, and the car would look much better.

that's sorta what I figured .... couldn't believe that there were't enough AA living in Florida, Texas, Philly/NYC/LA etc to show up on that type of map
hard to believe only enough living in Va, NC, SC, Ga, Al, Ms, and La to show up on this type of map

I have a Century Arms H&K G3 clone, ever think about playing with one of these?
RebelGTP: I thought you were working in the in archaeology sector or something? Maybe I've got you confused with another member.
Oh, and Devinci's new 650b 140mm "Troy" in Carbon:

Ah yes. The G3 BRASS DESTROYER. That weapon fires two projectiles: the bullet, then the brass. Both deadly.

You damn right. And do NOT fire it without hearing protection, that thing is a friggin beast!!!! I took it to an indoor range once, and cleared the place out when we started firing it. LOL The range guys were laughing their asses off.
