Hey, I just thought it was an Imperial Star Destroyer's build sheet in a shipyard somewhere.

Fixed. Added obli....tory.... yea... picture for ya.
I don't notice spelling problems likely because of a comprehension problem.
I used to think sailing was a wimpy rich man's sport. Now I know it is a dangerous as hell rich man's sport:
See that guy on the right? The one steering the ship? Like a frickn' BOSS!
Got SWMBO hooked on Firefly/Serenity. While watching the series something caught my eye.
Hey, that's my radio in the background!

I used to sail a lot. I even used to sail catamarans. That thing berking terrifies me.
Pleasantly surprised by a car show this evening. It was only about 2 miles from the house.
Sorry, in advance, for the crappy cell phone pictures.
A couple of notables:

Aw, yeah. I think the thing for me was that even though they're so much faster, they're still doing tacking duels in the races. From what I can tell in the video footage, there are times when those AC72's do 40kts. Looks like with the "wing" design though, they have to jibe downwind just as often as they have to tack upwind to keep the speed up. And the 'foils just blow my mind. Especially when I saw that they can retract and extend. How much weight must those things be holding above the water?!?! Egad, with all that corporate money coming in, it's like the LMP1 of sailing. And I won't apologize for an image of the NZ boat..looks like they're going to take it from us. OTOH..that means the rematch in all that choppy Pacific Ocean stuff around their course. I wonder how the boats will handle in that stuff.
