Built for $5700. . . rat enough for me. . .
Thanks for the slap in the back of the head. Remembered being facinated by the pic of Richard Riddell lighting up the rears. Stayed fresh in my memory because I remember recently Hot Rod paying respects to his passing and showcasing his restoration of 50's era award winning and cover car Black Widow
Looked into it and a friend of Riddell's took over the build and here's how it currently looks. . .
Drivers were faced with treacherous conditions for their Monday commute, after a mix of snow, rain and ice caused slippery roads throughout the area.
Southern New Jersey got most of the snow on Sunday. The National Weather Service says unofficial observations show 11 inches fell in Penns Grove, 9 inches in Beachwood, 7 inches in Woodbury and 6 inches in Blackwood.
The snow gave way to rain overnight that froze on many roadways and caused treacherous driving conditions.
There were numerous accidents, including a massive pileup involving about more than 20 cars overnight on the Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers. At least 35 people were hurt, but none of the injuries were life-threatening. The parkway was closed southbound for several hours, but reopened at 5:30 a.m.

I'm guessing it's the posh hot rod version of wrapping your greased leaf springs, like they used to.

Bustier? The GGA thread is over there...
In other news, googling "Good God Almighty" returns an inordinate number of GRM hits

Cool little plane called a Fly Baby. The rear seat gunner is just a dummy. It's a kit plane powered by a 140hp Continental.
