that pic is why FL isn't necessarily better than other places... that would bother me just a bit
lived in Gainesville for a few months in the early '80's … saw one snap up a smallish dog while a dozen or more people stood around and watched
… the shorts bit .. yeah (though I was wearing shorts hear in WNC yesterday …. only problem … it was pouring rain & 60°)

Yep he was 94 years old. Originally wanted to design farm equipment. He didn't start to design guns until he was injured by the Nazis and saw first hand what their superior full auto weapons were capable of.
