Attack on Titan. Great series.
When I was at Oshkosh one time they almost wrecked it trying to land on the crosswind runway, because a C5 was lined up on the main strip.

Dad bought me a ticket to ride in a Trimotor once in the early 70's. Very, very cool! I even liked the wicker seats:
Airline safety has changed somewhat ...
The Trimotor rides were a side event to the Texas Air Races. It was funny to see the T6/SNJ class, with several of the planes still wearing their Japanese drag from "Tora! Tora! Tora!", where they stood in for Zeros.
SPotted in the wild the other day. A running, driving, under it's own power even Europa!! Snapped this at an intersection when I was at the facing light so I couldn't get one of it moving, but I will attest to the fact that it moved through at least 1st and 2nd gear without exploding!

There's several here in the PNW.
Here's a picture of one on course at Portland International:
Maybe its a mid-west thing?
We had a Europa at our autocross last month. No pics, unfortunately. I don't have a pic, but here's one of my daughter in her grocery getter:

Yes.
BTW, Doc should be joining the CAF's Fifi in the air later this year or sometime next year:
Fifi:
I worked for Howmet for a while, making vanes and blades for turbines. There was no mention in the orientation, display cases, or photos in the halls that they had ever been involved in something so cool. OK, there might have been mention of the military aircraft for which we made parts. There was, however, more discussion of a batch of golf club heads they had cast and which were coveted by some.
To each his own, I guess.
