I had one of those a year newer, it had a blue tank and side covers.
I swapped the flexy stock forks for a set from an XL350, stuck a set of finned body Elsinore shocks on it, did a Powroll 196cc big bore/high compression piston and swapped the exhaust, for some reason I think it was a Bassani but don't recall that for sure. A set of real knobbies got slapped on it and that bike was the terror of my riding group. I do recall the brakes were freakin' HORRIBLE, Popeye himself couldn't possibly have squeezed the front brake lever hard enough to do anything but just scream as things got closer... But man it was FUN!
A neat find on my walk to work. I collect bus stuff and have been getting into odd Soviet stuff and I found something that covers both. If anyone speaks Russian I'm curios what the three letters on the bottom say.
