Wow, I forgot about tartan interiors on TR7's, mine was the red tartan. Here's me painting it circa 1990/91. Note the stunning dress sense and amazing safety equipment.
My Opel Manta GTE had a tartan interior too, no pics of my interior, but it was kind of like this but obviously RHD.
Other than RHD mine was more of a light brown colour (not color!!) to match the stunning gold 80's exterior. This is the car I miss the most. Below in action at HArewood Hillclimb April and June 1994

Tartan is great for cars, just don't show your ignorance further by calling it plaid.bigdaddylee82 wrote:That is the worst part of a horrible thing to do to a perfectly innocent Volvo. Dumb mirrors, ugly wheels, stupid low, bad stretch, AND German upholstery!
It's not that the plai - excuse me, tartan - is so bad. It's the horrendous shade of dogE36 M3 brown he chose to go with a red car that makes me want to hurl.
What's this? A humble old ex Military Land Rover 109 you say. Sure looks like it.
But wait, what's that?
Could that be 12 cylinders of Jaguar awesome sauce I see? Why yes it is!
Lowered, RWD Jag powered hot rod. Still a WIP but very cool
Now that's a vehicle that can carry off the natural rat rod look without over trying or faking it. Also notice the suicide doors.
