Why? Why isn't it considered "Buyer Greed" when you go in and offer $5,000 under sticker? You're welcome to offer what you're willing to pay - if they will sell it for that. They're welcome to ask what they want - if somebody will buy it for that.
And no, this is a totally separate issue from price fixing. Price fixing would be if all the Ford dealers in the region called each other and agreed that none of them would sell the car for under X amount.

What part of 'DICTATOR' did you miss? Also the only new cars I buy are through Ford with A plan so I don't haggle, I just walk in and plunk the money on the table.
