Mod here. We had separate topics for funny and fascinating animated GIFs. As far as I'm concerned a little cross-posting is OK as long as you don't make a habit of it. GIFs take longer to load on slow Internet/computers, so please spare a thought for those poor unfortunate souls suffering with dial-up.
In reply to RexSeven:
Dailup still exists?
These people do know that ADSL comes over the phone line, right?

IIRC you can get dial up free, and in some areas, ADSL isn't much faster.

Got it. I don't usually know these things until after the lights and siren ....

ADSL is pretty limited in its distance from the phone exchange. In rural areas, you're often too far away for ADSL to work at all.
Last place we lived at, our only choice for high speed Internet was cable, ADSL wasn't even available as an option. We looked at a couple of houses a bit further out and neither was available, so we would have been stuck with dialup. We're not exactly talking the middle of the desert either, just on the edge of a semi-rural town out here.
Heck, my employer still has clients outside big cities that have to get their monthly data update on a CD because they can only get dial up at their office.
while I've not heard many, if any, good things about satellite internet service, isn't it faster than dial up ? how bad is it during periods of bad weather ?
obligatory/unrelated hotlink:

DSL limit is 15,000ft ~ 3 miles
You can pay extra for a repeater to reach out farther but I dont know the limits of that.
The other problem with outlying areas is the availability of dedicated pairs, many phone co's cheat extra lines by splitting a pair into 2 or 3 numbers (not compatible with DSL).

We got turbos for your turbos. I do believe this is what is meant when they say "All the boost".

Are you not limited at some point by the 1 bar pushing the air into the intake of the first turbo? That seems like overkill of the highest order.

Nope, because turbos suck.
