The stars must have aligned just right today...I got two boxes of this stuff in my grubby little mitts. $15 a box, still more than I was paying before per round but much better than the scalpers online. Sad thing is 650 rounds was not even one day at the range for me before.
When I was home at Christmas, my dad mentioned he had some .22 ammo stored away that he wasn't going to shoot any time soon. We dug out a 500 round brick of Blazer. Price tag from the Sports Authority (do they still exist?) says 8.99. I pay those scalper prices online because it's the only way I can get any 22. Including shipping, my last set of CCI SV came out to $0.10/round.
I think I'll keep this old brick around for a while to remind me of the good old days.

I have a few boxes of this stuff laying around it is early 70's vintage. Apparently it is collectable now and worth about $40 for a 50 round box.
