BTW, there's an unspoken competition amongst Westy owners to see who can have the best extra toys mounted on the vehicle. Bikes, kayaks, hang gliders, whatever.

I came across that on Expedition Portal in the adventure bicycle forum. I was looking for bike rack ideas for the Samurai. I need more exercise and riding around the neighborhood just doesn't cut it.
It's a really cool shot and just goes to show, you don't need purpose built jacked up off road vehicle to actually get out there. You just have to get out there. Awesome.
Those guys will carry a bike on anything.
