I found the photo from this thread on turbobricks, which is giving me evil ideas for my new 740 wagon. TL/DR: Weld 2.75" of spacer onto stock front struts, Put Cherokee springs/durango shocks in the rear. I love it, but it's beyond my abilities, and the wife just gave me "the look" when I showed her.

Probably none, if you maintain tire sizes and drop the angle drive once a decade to lube the splines.
Additionally, they drive just fine without the rear wheels driven. The more common and almost as costly, but easy to avoid problem is the exhaust bracket of death, although its more of an R problem.
