Not to poo on Ford (my Explorer is one of the best vehicles I’ve ever owner) but separating the Sierra and Silverado into separate categories seems ridiculous to me.
Aren’t they only differentiated by their badges…am I missing something???
The idea is that Chevy is the barrel-scraper marque and GMCs are more upmarket. GMCs were sold at Pontiac, Buick, and Olds dealerships that wanted a truck line. (Maybe Cadillac too) This was, of course, before the country collectively lost its sense of style and decided that trucks were awesome instead of just farm equipment, so every marque got its own line of trucks for some dang reason.
Silverados and Sierras are separated. I am sure that F-series and Lincoln Blackwoods are separate, too.
but Lincoln Blackwoods wouldn't add anything more than statistical noise to the graft, whereas the GMC added to the Silverado would change the graft pretty significantly
edit: forgot my hotlink
They are separate vehicles. If toyota and subaru have to separate the FRS and the BRZ and cavalier and sunfire were separated the Sierra and the Silverado are separate.
Thems the rules.

Is that a Rolls nose on a GM wagon or a Suddard Special we never heard of? I ask because of the plates.

I was going to call B.S. on this pic, at first I thought it was some Chinese knock off that someone had shopped to look like a Chevy for bad press. So I went Googling right to the IIHS official website to look up the Spark crash test ratings. It scores 'Good' for Moderate front overlap, Side, Roof strength and Head restraints/seats and 'Average' for 'small front overlap' Then this very pic comes form their site. That's truly scary! This is the after photo, the above being during. It looks so bad as the 'small front overlap' is outside of the chassis leg, so the 'during' pic looks like the whole front end is gone.

Country Squire.
I saw a similar vintage Ford LTD years ago in Automobile Quarterly with the same treatment.

Think I found my color scheme.
I would rock the old school NASCAR out of this thing!
