My youngest daughter had her high school prom on Friday. They hold it at a local golf and country club. The kids parade down the driveway then are announced before they go in. This is how my kid arrived.

I'm happy for you, but I am SO glad I didn't have to go through the whole overblown-prom thing, either as a kid or as a parent.
