I'd like a Mare's Leg in my collection, but I'm specifically Jonesing for a 1894c .357/.38sp, which is unobtanium. It's a $550-600 MSRP, selling for $800-$1200 on Armslist and Gunbroker. Dang you Remington/Marlin start making what I want again!!!

Is that for real? I like it on many levels. But not to the tune of the original buld cost!
"...the pickup truck conversion of this Vette that was created by merging a 1984 Corvette front-end with the rear-end of 1991 model.
And if you think that the $35k that ClassyAuto (oh the irony…) is asking sounds a lot wait till you here what the original owner spent to create this Vettamino: $115,000 "

Dad has a late '70s Winchester 94 Saddle Ring .30-30.
I want a side eject though, and I want a .357, basically that leaves Henry and Marlin, but I also want a side loader, not a tube loader, so that rules out Henry. Rossi's Rio Grande is side eject and side load, but as far as I know it's only available in .30-30.
I've ran across a few .44 Mag Marlin 1894s at reasonable prices, but the .357 is unobtanium.
Cowboy action shooting got popular, plus the growing numbers of survivalist/preppers folks all wanting a reliable carbine in the same caliber as their revolver, on top of the fact that Reminlin, or is it Marlington, are only making them in short run batches a couple times a year, means no .357 1894c for Lee.
