It's cool, but it would be a pain in the butt to have to reach up for common shortcuts. A simple pad on the desk would be a lot more convenient.
Learning something like this would leave your mouse hand open:

Yea I really want to take some of those ideas and design a dashboard now. Maybe my '87 Daytona is futuristic enough for that.
