Duct tape paint job. Why have I not seen or thought of this before? It's genius!

Nohome and ncjay, you guys are awesome. I didn't honestly expect a description and pictures of the recovery.

Looks awesome because it IS awesome. Sure would be nice if you drive it a bit more.
Then again, you are not exactly beggared for nice rides are you
As awesome as the Flying Miata built V8 cars are, they are not something that mo$t people here can relate to. The GT on the other hand is "Home Built"

Someone needs to make a duct tape version of this livery on a challenge car.

That is not the same thing!!
Notice the first one is "B" whereas this one is "A". They got stuck in many, this one was obviously a much shallower crevice. Read that link up there for the full detail. It's pretty neat.

I don't post every time I drive it - although it doesn't get a lot of use, I'll admit. The biggest problem is the parking, it's trapped behind the pickup and that means I have to move the truck to access it.
The FM built cars are no different than home built other than they're being built very well by someone with a high level of attention to detail. That can certainly apply to a home builder, although it often does not. If you've seen the "Tom's garage" LS3 Miata build, he's basically doing what we do only doing it at home.
