Ever see what those huge wheels look like after any driving at all? Round as a stop sign, and usually multiple cracks poorly welded up by fly-by-night wheel repair shops (there's no liability if you go out of business in three months!).
My favorite was the bedonked Impala SS on 26s that had big blobs of RTV silicone oozing from the beads in spots. Still needed to air the tires up every morning. They'd go from 50psi to zero in a day. No difference in feel between 50psi, 30psi, and stone flat, either.
