I got to Monkey (you have two people in the boats wearing helmet and Kevlar suits(keeps the props from cutting you up), the driver and the monkey, the driver sits and the back and the monkey is the moveable ballast,) one of these boats during a race weekend. Most fun I have ever had. You want it to pop off a corner, slide to the transom. Wanna dig in to make the turn? You go as far forward and as far over the side boat toward the inside of the corner you can. You are constantly moving and adjusting.
They are nice and give you a rope to hold on to.

How about 4 x 627 = 2508 hp hanging on the transom. Seven Marine 627 is a tuned GM LSA mounted to ZF z-drive converted to bolt up to a lower unit to make an outboard.
