The green over red traffic light is in the Tipp (Tipperary) Hill neighborhood in Syracuse NY.

My GF and I were in the Cuse on Saturday for the St Paddy's parade and much imbibing in the evening.
For the record, I'm not Jamaican. I do, however, have a rather profound preoccupation with pretty much everything having to with the land of wood and water. This reminds me that I haven't Jamaica bombed the hot link thread in a while. Expect white Corollas. Soon.

I had a color blind DE student who'd have real issues with that.

I don't think it is written anywhere what ORDER the lights have to be. It is only by convention that red is on top, green on bottom, and amber in the middle.

Should I be concerned, is there something in the middle 4 circles?

In reply to Streetwiseguy:
Well, they eventually caved and allowed it after the light was repeatedly stoned. There is even a park on the corner called Stone Throwers Park.

Didn't messrs MacCarthy and Birch have something to say about that?Bumboclaat wrote: In reply to iadr: The green over red traffic light is in the Tipp (Tipperary) Hill neighborhood in Syracuse NY. http://tipphill.us/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tipperary_Hill My GF and I were in the Cuse on Saturday for the St Paddy's parade and much imbibing in the evening. They talk about the light on the wiki page link above. My understanding is that the red is always on top for safety reasons and the Wiki states that its the law.
Color blindness is one part of it and the other part is if you are cresting a hill, the first light you'll see is the red. Rather than an off green light. That way you have a better chance of stopping for the red light.
