Changing a service pole without ripping out the service. It was a long day.
I did manage to chop these with the post hole diggers. That cost us an hour making sure they were sealed up properly.

We started watching a movie I really liked when I was younger.
It doesn't hold up as well as my nostalgia for it did, and my wife, the veterinarian, was poking holes in some things. After the eggs hatched in the lab scene we turned the channel and found a bit a nostalgia for her:
Granted her movie is only 11 years old, but she is a bit of a Disney movie nerd even through college/vet school.

Damn, some people are hard to please. I'm surprised that she didn't turn off at the frog instead of bird DNA. I love the movie, but I was in my 20's when it came out. It was an epic wide screen adventure and the CGI for the time too it to a whole new level. I think it still stands up in the 'remove brain and enjoy' genres of movies.
How can you not love this.
