I broke it at 5 years 5 months. I had checked the warranty. Mind you, I was trying to drill a 2-3/4" hole in 2x3 box steel. Dang good drills, otherwise. In the process, I also grenaded my corded Hitachi drill.

I've since bought the two-handled 8.5A Makita wrist breaker.
