Last night, for the first time in over seven years and 100,000mi, I looked at the air filter.
It's not nearly as dirty as I thought it would be (filters over 10k old are usually blocks of clay) but what struck me as fascinating was all the mildew.

I don't know. That top looks dangerously loose, I'm pretty sure it's needs to go and be replaced with something a little tighter.
