Heck, I learned that from a 1960's drag racing comic book I found years ago. I don't recall the name on the cover.

These guys have been trying to put one over on the roof for years. They finally did it, but its tough- the back bumper lifts the rear tires, and down it comes. Chevette, I think, finally did it. Guy with an orange Gremlin tried and tried.
