Tsingtao Beer…Hahaha, I got popped by a full-on Chinese army guy while trying to abscond with two of those little beauties from the Emperor’s Lounge at Hong Kong International…good times, good times.

Neon is so classic, and bending all that tube is still one of the last bastions of handmade artwork in the sign world. When I was in signs we tried multiple times to keep a guy in house to bend neon but they were always too flaky or high to stay employed. Saw some guys make some amazing stuff, but they could never keep up with the piss tests.
NuWay is local and famous, but not actually a sign I worked on.
This is what a Neon fuel pump commutator that almost cost me the feature on Saturday night looks like.

That is EXCELLENT. Just awesome. And terrifying.

It was spotted by a buddy of mine at a semi-local car show. I wish I had a picture down into that engine bay. I'm imagining a twin-turboed big block jetboat motor connected to an FWD Caddy transaxle instead of an outdrive.
Wish I still had my 600. I had a 500hp rotary version here, but the pic wouldn't load, so here's a Kawasaki swap instead.
