I have heard the above type of bike referred to as a "Brat Bike", and I agree completely. Useless to put those tires on that bike, but somehow darn sexy. Seeing as how I'm slow as molasses these days, I feel just fine saying I want one.

He served on a tin can in the Pacific during the unpleasantness in the 1940s. He also told me that if you want to drive a car, you have to know how it works and how to fix it.
