I like this one with the mannequin out back.

I've always loved the VariViggen, but I had always heard plans were next to impossible to come by. Of course I've also heard LongEZ plans are getting that way as well.
YES! I love that Fly Baby Junkers conversion, that's a hoot.
And the obligatory link...
this photo from the Bowers Fly Baby web page pretty much summed up for me why I want to build an open-cockpit bird someday.... I guess the same reason some folks are addicted to bikes and open air riding, this has to take that to a whole higher level...
Don't know the guy, but I'd trade places for a flight or two.
Burt Routan is cool and all and I'm gonna let you finish, but the Flying Wing is the greatest design of all time!!!

The Simpson did it.

I reckon that the scientists and engineers from Nazi Germany have been responsible for modern aviation and space as we know it for probably the last 70 years or thereabouts.

Lippisch, the fellow who did most of the German tail-less designs, might be able to take us forward another 70 years in additional to the last 70 or so.
Fastenal has vending machines, who knew?
Counter guy said they're the next big thing at facility or plant floor. Employee enters their ID#, gets PPE, parts etc. Locker style is weight sensitive so Joe employee can't bag an extra can of paint for home when he is only req'd one. Machine inventory reports back to local Fastenal supplier.
How cool.

Like it was serious dumb luck that Germany didn't win WW2. If the Fuhrer's ego would have been in check the world would look much much different I think.
In reply to RFloyd:
Think Cheranovsky had any influence on the Horten designs?
We give the German engineers too much credit. Cheranovsky, Northrop, and others were working independently along similar lines in the 20's, 30's and 40's.
This fur ball has started to ring the bell to go outside when she has to pee. She's cute and she knows it.
I keep remembering this dumb rendering I did in a high school modeling class and thinking it'd be cool if it was really a thing.
I sort of mixed these 2 cars, decided I didn't like fenders, and copied a Miller grille, but it didn't turn out like I wanted so I rendered it from an angle where you couldn't see it. Also it's taken me almost 4 years now to realize I forgot to put tail lights on it.
I want to see you guys top this.
Posting the page number is amateur hour. I got the date (4/20 [look at his eyes]) and day. HA!

Cheranovsky... hey, thanks for that mention. I have always been fascinated with the Soviet aircraft industry, particularly WWII and the prewar years.... somehow I have not read of this gentleman and his designs. You've just given me reading material for the day!
And on the subject of Soviet WWII aircraft, obligatory link:
