I also enjoyed Sharknado, and I am a comics fan. Mystery Men was fantastic in concept, and had a great cast for a quirky, affectionate semi-comedy sendup of the genre. But in actuality it just ended up being kind of pissy and mean-spirited.

Sure, it could have been better, but as it is, it was quite enjoyable. My wife and I quote from it all the time.
