You can do something really nice with these container buildings, but I got to thinking what happens when it rains. Without a normal roof the noise of the rain hitting the steel would be deafening. Adding a roof is easy enough. Now I need to find someplace to buy a few containers.
Someone on hear who works in the field noted that container homes don't make much sense. By the time you add everything and insulate them, you might as well have just built a stick home.
For a shop though, I think that might be a bit more practical. Bonus points for being fire proof!

You remove the pistons and rods, then do something to the main journal to keep the other rod on that journal in place. Simple thing is to just cut a rod off so it looks like a pair of caps and use that.
And thus, the trade secrets in how to balance it when you're throwing the bobweight all out of whack when you're removing half the pistons and a bunch of lateral forces that won't resolve the same.
And then Chevy realized, if we put the camshaft on the exhaust side, we wouldn't have to compromise the intake ports for pushrod clearance.

The geometry. Crank throws, valve angle, port dimensions, etc...
