Yes! Someone else who remembers Crystal Gravy!

And you can get Max Headroom from Netflix, by the way. And my wife has no idea what New Coke was. Man, does that ever show up a 6-year age gap! Did you know that it still says "classic" on Coke cans?

Who else had a crush on Lea Thompson after BTTF came out? Also, the only reason to watch Howard the Duck.

See, and I thought it would have been a different movie... lead character's name just happened to be Keith...

I'd forgotten she was in that. I got distracted by Mary Stewart Matherson.

And to tie it to BTTF - Eric Stoltz was originally supposed to play Marty McFly. They even did 5 weeks of filming.

You might want to check out All the Right Moves.

Just ignore Tom Cruise.

My wife got me a Max Power desk nameplate for Christmas the year of that episode.

Hell, most of my posts are all in this thread. Not sure what other value my posts here are.

More than you think, probably. I've seen you give better advice to your Mopar buds than I've given to VW guys..you know your chosen marque pretty berkelying well!

Rob_Mopar wrote: The main reason I like hanging out here is there aren't really any snobs. Everybody here seems to dig whatever the weird thing somebody else is into.

Aw, hell yeah! I was on vwvortex back when that thing was being built. I can't find the original build thread..but I found the one he made when he finished it.

And yeah, the lack of snobs is why I don't go to the vortex much anymore..except for when I'm looking for parts.

Thanks for the conversation, gotta hotlink now..

Recall that T/A races were much longer back then..modern T/A races are 90mi. or so..the 66 race at VIR was 400mi. Iron men in Big Iron!
