Pics are gone from the Internet. About 20 years ago there was a website for a racing team in New Zealand called Dietstop. They circuit raced a Mazda R100. A left hand drive R100. The engine was in the passenger floorboard area, and the shifter had a 2-3' extension back to the shift tower on the trans.
Neatest idea I ever saw.
