Our house used to get buzzed by these guys a lot, susually in groups of 4 (and sans the USAF markings):
Bird Dog! My father in law wrenched on those in Vietnam.
I know a guy who knows a guy who has one of these in a garage that's "complete and not too rusty" with no drive train that he wants to get rid of. Cheap.

In Skymaster trim, they usually had some ordinance under the wings...
[edit] Apparently, they got their own type certification they called the Summit Sentry.
I was going to further dilute the Grassroots Pedalsports thread from being about folks' own bikes, so here's a klunker (charitably) with a Manitou fork that was parked outside our favorite coffee shop when we visited Ashland a few weeks ago...
EDIT: Aw man... I hadn't noticed that it appears the forks are totally collapsed. That's 73% less cool, at least.
In reply to Ransom :

My nephew dropped by today with his (new to him) 2005 Carrera S. He's an engineer for Ford and has been working with the Mustang design team.

Id love to know how you tell your wife you’d like a six wheeled Land Rover to drive around the city. I’ve tried a few times and it hasn’t worked.
In reply to Wally :
I suspect if I did that she'd be amused, but it wouldn't "work", in that I probably still wouldn't have a six-wheeled Land Rover. I'm still working on the Unimog, and I think if the right one surfaces at the right time someday...
