We just had the Commemorative Air Force here at AVP with "Fifi" along with "Bucket of Bolts" C 45 and a T-6 Texan for fly along. Never made it out but I only live a couple miles from the airport and I'm right next to approach.

That’s Castle Clinton where you board the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The Irish Hunger Memorial is a few blocks north of that.

Yes, that C47 is the one used for flights around Christmas time and other holidays. You can swing by the museum and check out the planes on the weekend if you want. I didnt see Fifi the last time I was there though.
