Actually, mine had a compression brake option this one doesn't seem to have.
The Kawasaki replaced my trusty Honda XR75, which I loved but had outgrown a bit. The Kawasaki also had lights and turnsignals so I could at least pretend to be legal when I was backroading it. It also meant I didn't have to be home by sundown.

I always thought hang gliding would be pretty cool, but it is certainly dangerous!

That is the best reason to NOT go hang gliding I have ever seen. Kudos to the guy for hanging on, I would have freaked out and died.
I'd kick him in the nads so hard his kids will stutter. You're supposed to do a "Hang Check" before walking out to the line.
