I love the photo of the ship. The first of my paternal ancestors to emigrate from Scotland to North America was Captain of the last wood hulled sailing ship launched on the Great Lakes.
No mariners in the family now. I was the last generation to be taught to sail.
No more horse work for me either, it's all cats and dogs now, but I get to be home at night, and I'm not on the road for half of the year.
My only boat, now.

Ok, actually a javelina (collared peccary) that decided to have brunch along US 285 during the Big Bend Open Road Race. That'd leave a mark at 140 mph.
