I love the photo of the ship. The first of my paternal ancestors to emigrate from Scotland to North America was Captain of the last wood hulled sailing ship launched on the Great Lakes.
No mariners in the family now. I was the last generation to be taught to sail.
No more horse work for me either, it's all cats and dogs now, but I get to be home at night, and I'm not on the road for half of the year.
My only boat, now.
I stopped by the auto show Wednesday and the good folks a Subaru let me get a Forester for Ollie.
This view is dulled by the iPhone. This is an hour from where I live. Never been there before. Lived here 17 years. Also my boy had fun:

Ok, actually a javelina (collared peccary) that decided to have brunch along US 285 during the Big Bend Open Road Race. That'd leave a mark at 140 mph.
I didn’t go in but I’d be willing to bet that their name is quite accurate. #richfieldutah
